Bring lunch, 2-3 quarts of water, sun and rain protection, and lug-soled shoes. “First timers" must call the leader. All participants must be in top condition, well prepared for trail conditions and will be accepted at the leader’s discretion. Hikers must be able to keep pace with the group.

Park on the street in front of the Methodist Church, 2111 Camino del Rio South (west of Texas St.). Be prepared to drive yourself if there are no other carpoolers.

The hike will be to Oasis Springs in the Laguna Mountains. We'll also make a loop around the north end of Laguna Meadow. There will be some moderate up and down hill on the trail to the springs. Bring water, snack, and lunch. The hike is 9-10 miles. We will depart for the hike promptly at 9am. We should be back to the cars around 2pm. Park at the Penny Pines parking area on the Sunrise Highway. It is about a 1/3 mile past mile post marker 27. Adventure pass required. Mission Valley Car Pool, if there is one 8:00AM
